Skagit Regional Health invites passionate Certified Nurse Midwives to join and contribute to the growth of our newly established Midwifery program in Mount Vernon, Washington. Highlights:

  • Play a part in growing a collaborative practice that currently consists of two (2) experienced CNMs. Our vision is to expand this team to include at least six (6) CNMs.
  • Our seven (7) employed OBGYN providers, conveniently located adjacent to the Midwifery clinic, are available for support and consultation in clinic.
  • 1:4 call shared equally amongst the group.
  • Engage in a full-spectrum role, providing care to both OB and GYN patients in the clinic and performing deliveries at Skagit Valley Hospital conveniently situated across from the clinic. 
  • Our Family Birth Center boasts 21 LDRP rooms and 2 ORs on the unit with dedicated Anesthesia support. Additionally, our Level II Special Care Nursery is supported by onsite Pediatric Hospitalist.
  • Benefit from the assurance of having onsite OB Hospitalists available 24/7 to provide support whenever required. 
  • This is a full time position with a 32 scheduled patient contact hour work expectation.
  • This is a hospital-employed position with access to a large, existing in house  primary and specialty care referral base.
  • Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a Midwifery program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME). Board Certification required.
  • Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license before starting.
  • 2-3 years of recent full scope midwifery experience is required. 
  • Current AHA RNP and Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification is required before starting
  • First assist experience is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary range: $135,939 - $152,177 DOE
