This section of our site walks you through our orientation process for new Skagit Regional Health providers.

Thoracic surgeon in ORIf you are a new employee but not Physician, PA or ARNP, you have a separate orientation process.

At Skagit Regional Health, we recognize that succeeding in your new clinical position begins with a successful orientation process, which is coordinated directly with your Provider Recruiter. Whether you’re a new provider, previously practiced here or new to the area, our job is to make your transition to your new position as smooth and as seamless as possible, allowing you to focus on your new responsibilities.

New Provider Orientation Session Information

During your new provider orientation session, you will receive organizational information about Skagit Regional Health, review all applicable policies and procedures, review benefit options and get regulatory and IT system training and education.

As a new member of our medical staff, you also will receive additional clinical orientation specific to your specialty and to your clinical department. Your department chair, supervisor or manager will provide you with your additional clinical orientation schedule.
