Navigating Critical Areas of the Head and Neck
The StealthStation ENT Navigation System offers image-guided surgery for precise endoscopic procedures in the sensitive areas of the sinuses and skull base. This system is employed by Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) surgeons to address complex sinus conditions, including revision surgery, chronic sinusitis with nasal polyps, nasal tumors, or skull base defects. It is also utilized for initial sinus surgeries when the anatomy is particularly complex.
The StealthStation enables surgeons to use the patient’s pre-operative CT scan to verify their position during surgery with an accuracy of up to 1 mm, enhancing the safety, speed and thoroughness of the procedure. ENT surgeons at Skagit Regional Health began using the system in December 2021.
