Accreditation
Accreditation is a stamp of approval in the quality, safety and clinical excellence of a program. The Breast Institute at Skagit Valley Hospital is fully accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons. Receiving care at a NAPBC-accredited center ensures that a patient will have access to:
- Comprehensive care, including a full range of state-of-the-art services
- A multidisciplinary team approach to coordinate the best treatment options
- Information about ongoing clinical trials and new treatment options
Our center is accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC).
We are recognized as a center of excellence from the American College of Surgeons.
We are also accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR).
These accomplishments mean that our patients are afforded the most currently available forms of evaluation, treatment and follow-up care knowing that we have passed a rigorous evaluation by independent clinical surveyors.
