Supportive Education and Resources Boost Confidence When You Return Home

At Skagit Regional Health, our goal is to equip each mom with the knowledge and skills necessary to be the best mother she can be. We encourage new moms and their spouse or support person to utilize the following educational resources in the weeks and months that follow delivery:

• Baby Line: If you have any questions about caring for your baby, call the Family Birth Center at Skagit Valley Hospital at 360-814-2229 to speak with a registered nurse who can answer questions about newborn care or any postpartum concerns.
• Bottle Feeding: If you choose not to breastfeed, our expert staff will help you and your baby bottle-feed successfully.
• Breastfeeding and Newborn Care Classes: These in person classes have been temporarily suspended due to COVID-19 restrictions.
