We offer special therapies for women to reduce symptoms of lymphedema after breast cancer surgery, overactive bladder, pelvic floor pain and pelvic floor dysfunction. Inpatient and Outpatient Services for Adult and Pediatric Patients
The Rehabilitation Department at Skagit Regional Health provides inpatient and outpatient services for both adult and pediatric patients. Acute care services are provided at Skagit Valley Hospital and Cascade Valley Hospital. Our Rehabilitation Department provides a multidisciplinary approach that encompasses physical, speech and occupational therapies and is conveniently located for families in the Skagit, Island and north Snohomish communities.
Acute Care Rehab for Pre- and Post-Surgery
Skagit Regional Health’s acute care rehabilitation program provides therapy and educational support across a range of services, including:
- Pre-operative evaluations for total hip and knee replacement
- Pre- and post-operative rehabilitation for inpatient care
- Pre- and post-operative care for day-surgeries
- Acute stroke rehabilitation
- Cardiac rehabilitation
- Educational services for staff, patients and their families
