Other endoscopy procedures our team performs include esophagoscopy, a lighted tube that’s inserted through the mouth and into the esophagus. This may be used to check for abnormal tissue or areas of concern. Bronchoscopy is used to detect problems in the airways and lungs. Endoscopy hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with staff on standby around the clock for all emergencies and inpatient procedures.
