Best Care for Mom and Baby: Foundation Meets Capital Campaign Goal!

Our generous Skagit Regional Health community responded to the Foundation’s appeal to support the purchase of new equipment for our two Family Birth Centers at  Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon and  Cascade Valley Hospital in Arlington. In nine short months, the Skagit valley Hospital Foundation met its Family Birth Center campaign goal through major gifts, monthly donations, the annual employee giving campaign and fundraising event proceeds, the Foundation was able to reach its $462,000 goal. Gratitude abounds for our donors contributions made to this important patient service.

Our Skagit and Cascade families and Family Birth Center staff thank you!

Selecting the Campaign

The Skagit Regional Health Foundation Board of Trustees announced in early 2021 the Foundation’s Capital Fundraising Campaign to benefit our thriving Family Birth Centers at Skagit Valley Hospital and Cascade Valley Hospital.

“The Family Birth Center Campaign will raise money for state-of-the-art equipment that enhances our ability to provide the highest standards of care in our Family Birth Centers. With our growing community, we need your support more than ever. Every gift supports the best in care for our smallest, most vulnerable patients!” - Evelyn Morse, Foundation Trustee and Campaign Chair

Skagit Regional Health has helped welcome thousands of babies into the world! We need your help to purchase additional and leading-edge equipment to provide continued safety and comfort of patients during childbirth.

Making A Difference Through Generosity

Festival of Trees supporters Mark and Vickie Nysether and the Nysether Families Foundation pledged a gift of $50,000 to the Foundation for the Family Birth Center Campaign. The Nysether Families Foundation name will preside over the entrance to the Cascade Valley Hospital Family Birth Center.

Gifts of all size make a difference and will be recognized in the Foundation’s 2021 annual report featured in Skagit Regional Health’s HealthQuest magazine.
