Festival of Trees - Tree Stroll & Silent Auction

We are grateful for the contributions of our donors, our sponsors and the talent and time of our dedicated volunteers. In an incredibly challenging year, the Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees and Staff are pleased to announce that together we raised $192,000 during the Festival of Trees to support patient programs and projects at Skagit Regional Health.

We are deeply appreciative of the major support by the following – Heritage Bank, Title Sponsor, Peoples Bank, Tree Stroll and Tree Delivery Sponsor, Banner Bank, Silent Auction Sponsor and Dwayne Lane’s Skagit Subaru, Scavenger Hunt Sponsor. We also thank the Mount Vernon Downtown Association for their amazing partnership during this year’s event.

32nd Annual Festival of Trees - Spirited Stroll Raises Funds for Patient Care at Skagit Regional Health

Festival of Trees tree buyers and visitors to downtown Mount Vernon’s First Street were treated to the display of 21 elaborately decorated Christmas trees in 20 storefront windows during the month of November. This year’s Festival was different from the prior 31 years, but just as special. Taking special safety precautions due to the coronavirus, the inside Thanksgiving weekend event moved outdoors to a sidewalk stroll with the helpful partnership of the Mount Vernon Downtown Association. Festival participants enjoyed the annual Tree Ornament Scavenger Hunt and viewing of trees with classic themes such as Letters to Santa and Hark the Herald Angels Sing to creative themes such as a T-Rex dinosaur tree and a rainbow-bedecked evergreen.
