Fundraising Campaigns
The mission of the Skagit Regional Health Foundation is to raise, manage and distribute funds to assure the continued availability of quality health care services and programs at Skagit Regional Health. The Foundation will foster awareness of and community support for Skagit Regional Health through the involvement of the peoples is serves.
How Capital Campaigns Are Developed
The Skagit Regional Health Foundation acts independently to generate funds and awareness for Skagit Regional Health’s patient care needs. The Foundation’s Board of Trustees are separate from the healthcare system they assist.
Donor donations are instrumental for securing necessary equipment, patient care programs and facility improvements that Skagit Regional Health needs to perform its high level of quality patient care. The Foundation receives requests from administration to partner in support of patient care projects, the Board discusses and approves a financial commitment to the project and then develops its own fundraising agenda.
How the Foundation Fundraises
The Foundation Board of Trustees and Staff carefully manage donor gifts, appoint a campaign chair, organize and promote annual or capital campaigns for general or specific projects and host fundraising events and activities.
