Gingerbread House Contest

Join us for the Gingerbread House Contest during the Skagit Regional Health Foundation’s Festival of Trees Family Festival Days!

Whether you create your gingerbread house from scratch or use a store-bought kit, we’d love to see your holiday creation. Guests attending Family Festival Days will vote for their favorites, with prizes awarded to the top three entries.

Contest guidelines:

• One entry per individual, group or family.
• Gingerbread houses must be placed on an 18" x 13" cookie sheet.
• Original creations are encouraged, but store-bought kits are welcome.

Gingerbread House Drop-Off

Entries should be dropped off at:

Saturday, November 28
Between 9:30 and 10 a.m.

Each gingerbread house designer will receive free admission to Saturday’s Family Festival Day. Guests accompanying designers may purchase admission for $5 at the door.

Voting & Prizes

Guests attending Family Festival Days will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite gingerbread houses.

The top three entries receiving the most votes will win prizes.

Winners will be notified by text message by 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 29.

Pick-Up Information

Participants who would like to take their gingerbread house home must pick it up by 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 29.

Any entries not picked up will be discarded after 2 p.m.

While you’re checking out the gingerbread creations, enjoy everything Family Festival Days have to offer, including six kids’ activities, designer wreath sales, refreshments and raffle tickets for a chance to win a beautifully decorated holiday tree.
