I am honored to nominate Todd Christianson for the Rose Award in recognition of his outstanding commitment to customer service and his consistent demonstration of what can best be described as “Exceptional service, always.” Throughout a large-scale project, Todd exemplified Skagit Regional Health’s values of excellence, compassion and integrity through both his actions and leadership.
Todd was instrumental in the successful migration of hundreds of departmental folders – a complex initiative requiring technical expertise, thoughtful planning and a deep understanding of both clinical and operational needs. He participated in every one-on-one demonstration with department leaders and showed genuine compassion by ensuring each individual felt heard, supported and comfortable with the change. He personally handled all follow-up calls and addressed every email in record time, reinforcing trust and confidence across departments.
His commitment to excellence and integrity was evident in his proactive and accountable approach to problem-solving. Whenever an issue arose, Todd made himself immediately available to provide a quick fix, then took full ownership by investigating the root cause and following through with a permanent solution. He worked diligently to preserve critical departmental workflows and processes, demonstrating sound judgment and reliability at every step.
Despite the intensity of this project, he consistently fulfilled all regular responsibilities and willingly took on additional tasks for team members who were out, never compromising quality, responsiveness or professionalism.
As the project came to a close, he reflected during a brief conversation and said simply, “I got to meet some really cool people.” After 10 years with the organization, this perspective carries even greater weight. Though short, the statement underscores that after all the effort, dedication, setbacks and hard work invested, his focus remains on the people of Skagit Regional Health, speaking volumes about his character.
Through his dedication, compassion for colleagues and unwavering accountability, Todd truly embodies the values of excellence, compassion and integrity at Skagit Regional Health. His efforts directly support our mission of “Exceptional healthcare, always,” by delivering “Exceptional service, always,” making him highly deserving of recognition through the Rose Award.
