Skagit Regional Health celebrates local farming and its Family Birth Center with event sponsorships

Skagit Regional Health is dedicated to collaborating with our communities to promote health and wellness. Below is a list of community events and engagements that some of our providers and staff participated in during the month of June:

Berry Dairy Days – June 20-22

Skagit Regional Health was a sponsor of the 88th Annual Berry Dairy Days at Skagit River Park in Burlington, WA. This event celebrates strawberry and dairy farming in Burlington and is one of the oldest festivals in Skagit County.

The 3-day event included a grand parade down Fairhaven Avenue, tours of local berry farms, a smoked meat competition, live music and a variety of activities for all ages.

The festival began in 1937 as the “Strawberry Festival,” and was first launched as a fundraiser for the Burlington volunteer firefighters. The event celebrated local strawberry farming and a giant strawberry shortcake was paraded down Fairhaven Avenue for everyone to enjoy.

The Skagit Regional Health Foundation’s 21st Annual ParTee Golf Classic – June 27

This year’s ParTee Golf Classic, organized by the Skagit Regional Health Foundation, took place at the Skagit Golf and Country Club in Burlington, WA on Friday, June 27, 2025.

Skagit Regional Health was a sponsor of the event, and several employees participated by golfing or volunteering their time. Proceeds raised from the event will benefit the Foundation’s Family Birth Center campaign.

Thank you to our community partners and our staff for your continued dedication with providing services to our communities.
