The Rose Award is a peer-to-peer staff award focused on service excellence. One Rose is awarded monthly, system-wide. It provides an opportunity to highlight excellence in our organization, inclusive of all roles. Each nomination is carefully reviewed for the voting process, selecting the stories that shine a light on team members going beyond the expectations of their job role, leaving lasting impressions on our patients, colleagues and community.

The Rose Award recipient for September 2024 is Scott Broadway from Engineering.

Scott was nominated for this award in recognition of his extraordinary contributions to Skagit Valley Hospital. For 50 years, Scott Broadway has been the backbone of Skagit Valley Hospital’s Engineering department, serving with a dedication and work ethic that are unparalleled. As the Lead Engineer, Scott has ensured that the facility runs smoothly day in and day out, making sure that patients, staff and visitors benefit from a safe and well-maintained environment.
