Adam Tarakji, DO, was born and raised in Northern California and spent several years living in northern Syria prior to the Syrian Civil War. After completing his bachelor’s degree at UC Davis, he worked in the biopharma industry and as a personal trainer at his hometown gym for roughly three years before attending the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine.
During his clinical rotations, Dr. Tarakji was based in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, where he spent two years caring for underserved populations along the Emerald Coast. These experiences further strengthened his dedication to rural medicine and to providing compassionate care for patients of all backgrounds.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Tarakji enjoys powerlifting, hiking, road trips, landscape painting and reading on a wide range of topics, including history, anthropology and mythology.
