Dr. Sheu is a fellowship-trained orthopedic sports medicine surgeon specializing in minimally invasive arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder, hip and knee, with particular expertise in complex and revision shoulder conditions. He is double board certified in Orthopedic Surgery and Orthopedic Sports Medicine and is a candidate member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES).

Dr. Sheu utilizes patient-specific technology, robotics and computer-assisted navigation to perform advanced surgical procedures tailored to each patient.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin before completing medical school at George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch.

Dr. Sheu completed the prestigious Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute (SCOI/UCLA) in Los Angeles, where he received advanced training in complex arthroscopic and reconstructive procedures.

He has cared for athletes from the NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL as well as U.S. and international Olympians. With a background in engineering, he has a strong interest in advancing orthopedic sports medicine through technology, artificial intelligence and surgical innovation.

Dr. Sheu is frequently consulted for complex shoulder, hip and knee injuries in athletes and active individuals. He also serves as team physician for Skagit Valley College and provides coverage for local high school football programs.
