Overview

Meri Louise Serra, MD, was born and raised in Manila, Philippines, and later moved to Hawaii with her family. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Biology and her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Santo Tomas. From a young age, she aspired to become a physician, and she proudly stands today as the first doctor in her family.

During clinical rotation in Hawaii, Dr. Serra developed a strong interest in Internal Medicine. She was inspired by how internists blend critical thinking with the management of complex medical conditions while building meaningful, long‑term relationships with their patients. She looks forward to providing patient‑centered and culturally sensitive care to the Skagit community, fostering strong patient connections and making a meaningful impact on their health and well‑being.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Serra enjoys cooking, exploring local markets and coffee shops and hopes to travel throughout Europe to experience its rich history and diverse architecture.
