He received his medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine. While in medical school, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha and Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Societies and was awarded the Academy of Medicine of Toledo and Lucas County Richard D. Ruppert, M.D. Scholarship for academic excellence. He went on to complete his surgical internship and urology residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.
He is an active member of the Urologic community and maintains memberships in several societies, including the American Urological Association, American College of Surgeons and the American Medical Association. While he manages a variety of general urological conditions, he has special interests and expertise in robotic surgery, urological oncology, minimally invasive surgery and complex kidney stone disease.
