Dr. Tim Schaefer received his BS in molecular biology from the University of Kansas and his DO from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, he spent his early years living throughout the South and Midwest. He is ecstatic to complete his residency training at Skagit Regional Health in Mount Vernon as he has always wanted to live in the Pacific Northwest.
His professional interests in medicine include public health, nursing home medicine, palliative care and medical education. In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting, hiking, visiting natural history museums and watching scary movies.
