Overview

Allison Porter, MD FACS serves as the Chief of Surgery for Skagit Regional Health. She is a General Surgeon with specialty training in robotic surgery and minimally invasive surgery. Her specialty interests include treatments for benign disorders of the esophagus and stomach including hiatal hernias, gastroesophageal reflux, paraesophageal hernias and esophageal disorders such as achalasia. She also performs minimally invasive abdominal hernia repairs and practices a broad spectrum of general surgery. She received her undergraduate degree in Astrophysics from Harvard University, MD from University of Washington School of Medicine, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery. She is the Past President of the American College of Surgeons Washington State Chapter. Dr. Porter sees patients at Skagit Regional Clinics - Mount Vernon.
