Stephen Mowery, MD FAWM, practices Family Medicine at Skagit Regional Health. He received his medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania. After earning his medical degree, Dr. Mowery served as a Naval Flight Surgeon, providing general and aviation-specific medical care to Navy and Marine Corps service members in California, Arizona and Washington. He then completed his Family Medicine residency training at University of Nevada, Reno, where he also acted as a Chief Resident. During that time, he completed additional training and became a Fellow of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine.
Dr. Mowery sees patients at Skagit Regional Clinics - Station Square where he treats both acute and chronic medical conditions. He believes in health-focused lifestyle optimization including nutrition, physical activity, stress management, restorative sleep and social connection as a way to prevent and treat chronic disease.
