Athena Chen, MD, grew up in Snohomish, Washington. She attended the University of Washington in Seattle, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. Before medical school, she worked in biotechnology with a focus on gene synthesis, an experience that strengthened her interest in the scientific foundations of medicine. She went on to earn her medical degree from St. George’s University and completed her clinical rotations in California.
Dr. Chen is excited to continue her training back home in the Pacific Northwest. She looks forward to building long‑term relationships with patients while further developing her interests in preventive healthcare and women’s health. Outside of medicine, she enjoys aerial silks, hiking and spending time with her friends and family.
