Overview

Dr. Lizette Antig joined Skagit Regional Health in January 2019. Dr. Antig grew up and finished her medical studies in the Philippines. She then graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, magna cum laude, from the University of San Carlos. She finished her medical education from the University of the Philippines as a scholar and had her internship at Philippine General Hospital. After passing her medical board exams, she worked as a rural health physician for the Philippine Department of Health for almost two years before she migrated to the United States to join her husband. She pursued and completed Pediatric Residency at Saint Barnabas Health Systems in New York after three years of being a stay-at-home mother. As part of her training, she had rotations at the Children's Hospital in Montefiore, Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital New York - Presbyterian and Memorial Sloan Kettering.

Dr. Antig and her husband, who is a software engineer, are raising two beautiful and healthy sons. During her free time, she enjoys the company of her family, playing board games or traveling.

"At six years old, my pediatrician inspired me to be a doctor. Since then I have focused on that dream to help and inspire other children as well. I hope to have a positive impact on every child I meet - helping them to be healthy and with a bright outlook of their future."
