Sports Medicine Clinic Gym
Our facility was built in 2015, offering our patients the latest exercise equipment and ample open floor space for functional movements, balance training, agility, plyometrics, and other return-to-play activities. Student athletes, recreational athletes, weekend warriors and workers whose jobs require intense activity can all benefit from therapies available at our facility.
Runner Injury Rehabilitation

For competative or recreational runners, our physical therapist utilizes video gait analysis for biomechanical evaluation and assessment for your running gait. Evaluation includes running injury history review, thorough assessment of strength, flexibility, structural alignment, functional screening. Video analysis of running gait will be performed and reviewed together with the client. A comprehensive treatment diagnosis will be formulated to allow the most accurate and effective treatment plan. Treatment will include a combination of treatments which may include establishment and progression of therapeutic exercises program, gait re-training, manual therapy techniques, and running footwear recommendations.
The Sports Medicine Gym is located on the Garden Level of Skagit Valley Hospital. Enter through the hospital’s main entrance. Take the main elevators or stairs to the right of the information desk down to the Garden Level. Turn left with exiting the elevators/stairwell. Go past the Heather Schols Cardiac Rehabilitation Gym and turn right. The entrance to the Sports Medicine Gym will be down the hall on your right.
