Seattle Cancer Care Alliance Network Member
The Skagit Regional Health Cancer Care Center is a network member of the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA), which is
a partnership between the world-renowned Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, the UW Medicine and Seattle Children’s.
The affiliation between Skagit Regional Health and SCCA gives you the best of both worlds - care in your own community by skilled and dedicated oncologists, nurses and staff, plus access to the resources of SCCA and its parent organizations.
Benefits from this partnership include:
- Peer to Peer consultation: Your oncologist at the Skagit Regional Health Cancer Care Center may consult with SCCA oncologists about your diagnosis and treatment options.
- Streamlined referral access: For treatment of conditions not available in the community setting (extensive genetic counseling, stem cell and bone marrow transplant, rare disease treatment protocols).
- Access to early phase clinical trials: If you and your doctors decide that a clinical trial is right for you, some trial therapies can be delivered at the Skagit Regional Health Cancer Care Center.
