Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation hosts three major fundraising events during the year. We welcome sponsorship, volunteers and participation in any of our events to help us support quality health care for Skagit Regional Health patients.
The Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation’s 15th annual
"Have a Heart for Kids" dinner held February 26, 2018 at Il Granaio Italian Restaurant in Mount Vernon raised more than $15,000 for Skagit Regional Health’s Children’s Therapy Program. The program is a clinically-based, family-focused program providing one-on-one and small group physical, occupational and speech-language therapy to children with special needs. Services include family education and home programs.
The Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees and Staff are grateful for the generosity of our “Have a Heart for Kids” benefit sponsors - CF Properties Business Park, Kiwanis Skagit Mount Vernon Club and Skagit Valley Mobile Manor, centerpiece sponsors - Rouw Farmers Insurance and Washington Bulb Company, host and dinner sponsor Alberto Candivi, chef/owner of Il Granaio, dinner guests, and raffle donors whose gifts make this a very successful fundraiser. Event proceeds support the purchase of therapy equipment for the Children’s Therapy Program.
Mr. Candivi has enthusiastically hosted this event since its inception in 2003. We dearly appreciate his spirited commitment to the Foundation and the Children’s Therapy Program. Special thanks to our evening speakers – Mrs. Mary Wright of Sedro-Woolley, program speech therapist Becky Hendrickson and Skagit Regional Health CEO Brian Ivie. Additionally we thank the following supporters for their contributions - the Grace Cochrum Guild, Petals by Linda, Jaynie and Richard Roozen, Dimensional Communications, Inc., the Children’s Therapy Program staff and Il Granaio staff members.

For Support of 2018 Golf Classic
The Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation hosted its 15th annual Par Tee Golf Classic, in partnership with Title Sponsor Andeavor Refinery on June 22, 2018 at the Skagit Golf and Country Club. The tournament raised gross proceeds of $74,512. Proceeds will benefit the Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation’s Women’s Imaging Center Capital Campaign.
A highlight of this year’s “sold-out” tournament was the hole in one scored by Brock Bowyer of Leverage Information Systems. Bowyer won a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek sponsored by Dwayne Lane’s Skagit Subaru.
The Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation also thanks the more than 80 volunteers and the following sponsors for contributing to the success of this year’s tournament and the generous support that will impact the lives of Skagit Regional Health patients.
