Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation
Established in 1988, the Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation is a private, non-profit corporation that acts as the official gift-receiving agency for Skagit Valley Hospital. The sole mission of the Foundation and its 28-member board of directors is to raise, manage and distribute funds to assure the continued availability of quality health care services and programs through Skagit Valley Hospital.
The Foundation accepts gifts to support all hospital programs including cancer care, mental health care, kidney dialysis, wound care, critical care, the Family Birth Center, the Children’s Therapy Program, the Fine Art Program, Sunrise Inn (a hospitality house for patients and their families) and many other programs.
Charitable contributions help purchase medical equipment, support community education, provide staff training and help cancer patients needing financial assistance.
You can feel good about your gift knowing that:
- Funds are carefully managed and allocated by respected community leaders.
- The Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation is a fully qualified charity under IRS Section 501©3.
- Since 1988, the Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation has raised more than $15 million for projects and programs at Skagit Valley Hospital.
