The Rose Award is a peer-to-peer staff award focused on service excellence. One Rose is awarded monthly, system-wide. It provides an opportunity to highlight employees demonstrating organizational values, inclusive of all roles. Each nomination is carefully reviewed for the voting process, selecting the stories that shine a light on team members going beyond the expectations of their job role, leaving lasting impressions on our patients, colleagues and community.

The Rose Award recipient for December 2024 is Mary Levesque from Administration at Cascade Valley Hospital.

Mary was nominated for this award for consistently demonstrating excellence, compassion and equity in her role. According to her nomination story, Mary works hard to ensure all staff at Cascade Valley Hospital feel included and valued. She also is quick to help patients and visitors, identifying any roadblocks in the patient experience and helping brainstorm solutions to create a better experience for all.
