In September, Skagit Regional Health proudly hosted it’s first-ever job fair in partnership with WorkSource Skagit. This event marked a significant milestone for the organization, bringing together a diverse array of job seekers, Skagit Regional Health recruiters and department leaders in a dynamic and engaging environment. The exceptional participation and enthusiasm demonstrated the community's interest in healthcare careers and reinforced our commitment to attracting top talent to our organization for a wide variety of roles.

Our dedicated team of recruiters, along with several leaders, participated in the job fair by engaging with attendees. Job seekers had the opportunity to explore various career paths within our organization, including clinical, administrative and support roles; network with professionals and gain valuable insights into the skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the healthcare field. The positive energy and enthusiasm from both attendees and our staff highlighted the importance of community engagement and the role we play in shaping the future of healthcare in our region.

Initial feedback from participants has been overwhelmingly positive. Many attendees expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to learn more about Skagit Regional Health and the various career paths available. Our recruiters noted a high level of interest and engagement from job seekers, which underscored the importance of hosting such an event.
