Annual ParTee Golf Classic scores a perfect day of golf and giving
The Skagit Regional Health (SRH) Foundation’s annual golf tournament raised $110,000 - the highest amount raised in the event’s 20-year history. All proceeds will support the charity’s campaign to help remodel 21 labor and delivery rooms in the Family Birth Center at Skagit Valley Hospital.
Presented in partnership with Marathon Petroleum, the SRH Foundation’s annual tournament was held at the Skagit Golf and Country Club in Burlington, WA on June 21, 2024 – a stellar first day of summer with clear skies and warm temperatures.
The event committee, led by SRH Foundation trustees and tournament co-chairs Mike Marken and Aaron Robbins, included Kate Biringer, Lesha Boucher, Duane Henson, Michelle Knutzen, Bristal Latham, Evelyn Morse, Holly Nielsen, Carter Otos, Brent Thompson and SRH Foundation staff: Kylee Dowe, tournament coordinator; Linda Frizzell, executive director and Wendy Ragusa, stewardship and annual fund manager. With a sold-out field of golfers supporting the SRH Foundation’s mission, it was another successful opportunity to raise awareness and support patient care programs and services at Skagit Regional Health.
More than 140 golfers and 50 sponsors participated in this year’s tournament.
“We are grateful to all of our players, sponsors and volunteers who bring fun, fellowship and fundraising together to present an outstanding tournament year after year,” said co-chair Aaron Robbins.
