The Rose Award is a peer-to-peer staff award focused on service excellence. One Rose is awarded monthly, system-wide. It provides an opportunity to highlight excellence in our organization, inclusive of all roles. Each nomination is carefully reviewed for the voting process, selecting the stories that shine a light on team members going beyond the expectations of their job role, leaving lasting impressions on our patients, colleagues and community.

The Rose Award recipient for February 2024 is Claudia Delgado from the Medical Observation Care unit at Skagit Valley Hospital.

Claudia was nominated by two peers for her incredible patient care especially with the unit’s long-term patients, with one nomination stating “She brings happiness and quality back into their lives. Their attitudes significantly improve when she is here.”
