The Rose Award is a peer-to-peer staff award focused on service excellence. One Rose is awarded monthly, system-wide. It provides an opportunity to highlight excellence in our organization, inclusive of all roles. Each nomination is carefully reviewed for the voting process, selecting the stories that shine a light on team members going beyond the expectations of their job role, leaving lasting impressions on our patients, colleagues and community.

The Rose Award recipient for January 2024 is Jeffrey Mitcham from the Medical Observation Care unit at Skagit Valley Hospital.

Jeff was nominated for consistently going above and beyond in his management and care of his team and patients, being dependable and persistent in handling and addressing any issues.
