The Rose Award is a peer-to-peer staff award focused on service excellence. One Rose is awarded monthly, system-wide. It provides an opportunity to highlight excellence in our organization, inclusive of all roles. Each nomination is carefully reviewed for the voting process, selecting the stories that shine a light on team members going beyond the expectations of their job role, leaving lasting impressions on our patients, colleagues and community.

The Rose Award recipient for September 2023 is Karen Frizzell from Central Supply at Skagit Valley Hospital.

Karen was nominated because she tirelessly works behind the scenes to ensure we have the equipment and supplies we need every day to provide excellent care to our patients.
