The Rose Award is a peer-to-peer staff award focused on service excellence. One Rose is awarded monthly, system-wide. It provides an opportunity to highlight excellence in our organization, inclusive of all roles. Each nomination is carefully reviewed for the voting process, selecting the stories that shine a light on team members going beyond the expectations of their job role, leaving lasting impressions on our patients, colleagues and community.

The Rose Award recipient for August 2023 is Kara Davis from the Orthopedics and Surgical Care (OSC) unit at Skagit Valley Hospital.

Kara was nominated for being patient, caring and knowledgeable while making safety and advancement in patient care her priority.
