Yuri Tsirulnikov, DO, Interventional Pain Provider

Yuri Tsirulnikov, DO practices Interventional Pain at Skagit Regional Health. He received his DO from Des Moines University and is Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Yuri Tsirulnikov is a board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain medicine physician.  He is educated and experienced in all aspects of pain management, but has specialized interest and expertise in interventional pain medicine.  Dr. Tsirulnikov has an honest and down-to-earth approach to medicine; he places high emphasis on the doctor-patient relationship.

Dr. Tsirulnikov performs comprehensive patient evaluations using a thorough history and physical examination, and, if needed - diagnostic imaging and laboratory studies and advanced diagnostic minimally-invasive procedures to find out what is causing the pain and establish an accurate diagnosis. Dr. Tsirulnikov places an emphasis on setting pragmatic treatment goals and realistic expectations with his patients to either resolve or improve/manage their pain and improve their function and quality of life.  His goals are to design and implement the treatment plan using thoughtful, personalized, clinically-proven, safe and effective approaches, including various targeted minimally-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures, such as spinal and musculoskeletal (joint, bursa, tendon, nerve) injections, spinal cord stimulation (SCS), and, when necessary - medications with an emphasis on non-opioid options that would maximize the benefits and minimize the risks and potential side effects and complications.
