It's not just one story or one time Ania consistently shows her care and concern for her patients. She is a strong and intelligent Critical Care nurse who can manage any situation in our CCU. Ania is a strong advocate for her patients in rounds and throughout her shift checking in with all members of the care team to ensure her patient is receiving the best and expedient care. She is always gentle and kind when taking care of her patients and ensures they are clean and tidy, turned and always look amazing. She cares for them as if they were her family! Ania also cares about the families of her patients who often get forgotten in the maze of Critical Care equipment and chaos. She explains and shares information to help guide them and support them as they transition through this trauma of watching their loved one in Critical Care. Ania has been here at Skagit Valley Hospital for many years and she so deserves to be recognized for her amazing nursing care and her Critical Care skills.
