The Rose Award is a peer-to-peer staff award focused on service excellence. One Rose is awarded monthly, system-wide. It provides an opportunity to highlight excellence in our organization, inclusive of all roles. Each nomination is carefully reviewed for the voting process, selecting the stories that shine a light on team members going beyond the expectations of their job role, leaving lasting impressions on our patients, colleagues and community.

The Rose Award recipient for The Rose Award recipient for December 2022 is Kathleen “Kay” O’Neill, PA-C from Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.

Kay was nominated for this award because she has always been pleasant to work with and will always go above and beyond to help her patient or any other patient and make sure they receive a good outcome. She is a huge asset to the orthopedic department at Skagit Regional Health.
