Sep 1, 2018, 23:00 PM

Pictured left to right: Bree Corbin, Julie Jesmer and Kendra Yale.

The Multiple Sclerosis Bike Ride is a two-day biking event held around the nation to raise awareness and funds to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis.

In summer of 2018, Skagit Regional Health employees put together a small but mighty team of three. The trio included, Bree Corbin a Skagit Valley Hospital PT, Kendra Yale, a Skagit Valley Hospital PA for neurology and team captain and motivation Julie Jesmer. Julie is a Mount Vernon resident who lives with Multiple Sclerosis. Together they raised more than $1,000.

The team hopes to gain more support and riders to their team, aptly named Starfish Sprockets.
