More than $ 12,500 was raised to support Skagit Regional Health’s Children’s Therapy Program at Skagit Valley Hospital during the Foundation’s annual Have a Heart for Kids benefit dinner,  held February 24, 2020 at Il Granaio Italian Restaurant in Mount Vernon.

Alberto Candivi, chef and owner of Il Granaio, along with Foundation Board of Trustees has hosted the multi-course Italian dinner for 17 years. The fundraiser was sponsored by the Mount Vernon Skagit Kiwanis Club and included a program overview by Children’s Therapy staff. Heartfelt thanks to outgoing event chairs Mary June Curtis and Katie, who have co-chaired the event for the past four years. Rouw Insurance of Mount Vernon sponsored the table décor.
