Established in 1988, the Skagit Regional Health Foundation is a private, non-profit corporation that acts as the official gift-receiving agency for Skagit Regional Health. The sole mission of the Foundation and its 25-member board of directors is to raise, manage and distribute funds to assure the continued availability of quality healthcare services and programs. The Skagit Regional Health Foundation has funds that support programs and healthcare services across the Skagit Regional Health system.
The Skagit Regional Health Foundation is celebrating 35 years of partnerships, generosity and gratitude. The Foundation works with Skagit Regional Health to fulfill needs in the many healthcare facilities across Skagit, Island and north Snohomish counties. The Skagit Regional Health Foundation has supported a wide variety of programs and capital projects since it's inception in 1988 and has exciting plans to continue raising the bar for state-of-the-art healthcare in our communities.
The Skagit Regional Health Foundation is taking a new project to heart! Patients served at the Heart and Vascular Institute will be the beneficiaries of the Foundation’s next fundraising campaign. At the Foundation’s spring 2022 summit, board trustees voted to raise $3 million to update the technology and equipment in two of the catheterization labs located on the Skagit Valley Hospital campus in Mount Vernon.
Skagit Regional Health’s Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology programs, in partnership with the interventional radiology program, serve as a regional hub for heart care, treating more than 3,000 patients from 15 different zip codes each year.
Thanks to our generous donors, the Skagit Regional Health Foundation awarded $3,283,696 in 2024 to support vital programs at Skagit Regional Health. Your ongoing support is essential to our mission of providing exceptional healthcare to the communities we serve. On behalf of the Foundation's Board of Trustees and staff, we extend our sincere gratitude for your partnership in improving patient care. Join us today in continuing to make a meaningful impact—your support makes a difference!
