In 2018, the Foundation paid $3,000 to purchase a Cuddle Cot for the Skagit Valley Hospital Family Birth Center. This specialized bassinet allows the parents of stillborn babies the give of time to grieve, bond and say goodbye in the privacy of their hospital room.

$8,000 was granted to purchase security surveillance cameras to improve patient and staff safety in our Mental Health Center.

Since opening in 1992, more than 25,000 guests have stayed in the Sunrise Inn. These stays accommodate patients who receive tests and/or treatments at Skagit Valley Hospital and out-of-town family members who want to be near their loved ones.

Last year, our youngest patients receiving treatment in the Children's Therapy Program benefited from a $2,691 grant to purchase bubbles, PlayDoh and other supplies used for their in-patient and home therapy.
