Provider Opportunity - General Surgery, Acute Care

Skagit Regional Health is actively seeking Acute Care Surgeons to help develop an ACS program at our Level III Trauma Center. Highlights:
- In this new position, you will provide general surgery and occasional trauma surgery coverage in the ED and inpatient setting at Skagit Valley Hospital, a Level III Trauma Center.
- Collaborate with our existing 5 elective general surgeons as we grow our ACS program to 3.0 FTEs. Support available from our 5 general surgery PAs to assist during the day and for afterhours emergent cases.
- As a 1.0 FTE provider, you can expect to work an average of 10 24 hour shifts per month. 30-minute response time to the facility will be required.
- 24/7 reliable hospitalists onsite with support available from specialists throughout Skagit Regional Health.
- Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an ACGME accredited program.
- Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible.
- Must have general surgery experience with prior experience as an Acute Care Surgeon and/or taking General Surgery call.
- Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Compensation: $3,300 per 24-hour shift
