October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Breast cancer is the second most common cancer in women after skin cancer. Mammography offers early detection of breast cancer. Skagit Regional Health offers 3D mammography in two convenient locations - in Mount Vernon at the Women's Imaging Center and in Arlington at Cascade Valley Hospital.

Breast Cancer Screening

Mammogram screenings can help reduce the mortality rate from breast cancer among women. Listen in as oncologist Michal Whiton, MD and radiologist Aaron Yu, MD, discuss who is most at risk for breast cancer, the benefits of 3D mammography and more.
