Paul Ishizuka joins Skagit Regional Health
as interim Chief Financial Officer
MOUNT VERNON – Paul Ishizuka, MBA, CPA joined Skagit Regional Health this month as interim Chief Financial Officer for Skagit Regional Health.
Ishizuka takes on the role held by CFO Tom Litaker who will retire at the end of October after a 40-year career in health care. Litaker worked locally for 23 years with Skagit Valley Hospital, Affiliated Health Services and retires as Regional Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Skagit Regional Health.
Ishizuka brings 25 years of senior financial leadership in health care and corporate settings to the role. He will serve as interim CFO as Skagit Regional Health brings on a new Chief Executive Officer, who will assist in making decisions on a permanent CFO.
Ishizuka most recently served as CFO for Samaritan Healthcare, a public district hospital and clinics in Moses Lake, since 2015. Prior to Samaritan, he served in a variety of roles for the University of Washington including Medical Center Financial Officer for UW Medicine and Chief Financial Officer for University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle.
