Festival of Trees Gala

Each November our community gathers for a weekend of friendship, hope, and inspiration, to welcome the holiday season and support high-quality patient care. During the Skagit Regional Health Foundation’s annual Festival of Trees Gala and Auction, guests participate in an auction to bid on extravagantly decorated Christmas trees and unique and fun experiences to help support the Foundation’s annual patient care fundraising campaign. Followed by two Family Festival Days were the public enjoys viewing the trees, kid’s activities, a “Visit with Santa” and a gingerbread house contest.  The Thanksgiving weekend event is sure to please the young and young at heart.

This year’s event beneficiary is the Skagit Regional Health’s Family Birth Center at Skagit Valley Hospital. Because we believe every family deserves outstanding birthing services in a calm, relaxing, and healing environment the Skagit Regional Health Foundation has committed to raising $1.6 million to support this patient service.

Including gifts received at the Festival of Trees, campaign funds will help fund the redesign of the 21 single maternity care rooms, along with new safety and security upgrades.

Please join in the merriment at our perennial Festival of Trees celebration!

A special thank you to our Festival of Trees Co-Chairs Kris Wollan and Sandra Nootenboom and their committee of 20 community volunteers for creating a magical holiday event.
